Magnum does not exhibit pronounced aroma characteristics. But in its subdued character with mild aromas, the subtle characteristics of fresh flowers and fruit can be detected. The high alpha acid content in Magnum hops provides excellent (basic) bitterness.
Magnum hops are known for their very smooth, pure bitterness along the lines of Nugget and Horizon.
