- Obtained from residual syrup from the white candy;
- Develops a typical candy taste and flavour;
- Gives a natural “warm brown” colour in beers;
- Often used in strong dark beers.
Shelf life of this product is unlimited after production and exempted from the indication of best before date, according to the EU Regulation 1169/2011, article 24 – annex X (1d).
