LalBrew® Aurora – Limited Release Northern IPA yeast

With inspiration from the northern lights, LalBrew® Aurora ferments well at lower temperatures to produce floral and fruity aroma that is exceptionally crisp and clean.
LalBrew® Aurora brings IPA in new directions by defining the Northern IPA style, which combines the clean drinkability of traditional West Coast IPAs with the modern yeast character of East Coast styles.

With robust fermentation performance and a fruity aroma that shines crisp and clean, LalBrew® Aurora is ideally suited for your next IPA journey.

Northern IPA: A New Era of Flavor

The Northern IPA is a style identified by our team as part of the gradual evolution of North American IPA. The Northern IPA utilizes a high attenuation ale strain fermented at cooler temperatures to achieve a flavor profile that is clean, crisp, and dry. Compared to other IPAs, the Northern IPA presents as dry and more drinkable with low specialty malt usage. It may use hops from any origin but should showcase modern and hop-forward characteristics.
