Pauls ‘Angry Angler’ Roast Barley is produced at the Pauls Malt Ltd. malting plant in Knapton, North Yorkshire, England.

Unmalted barley is roasted at temperatures up to 240 °C. Water is then added to extend the roasting time and for cooling (and prevent combustion) in the final stage.
